Since Charlie met Gareth his PA , we have seen him grow in independence, as well as having some fantastic meals that Charlie has cooked us! Gareth in such a short time has become a family friend and a caring PA, whom Charlie likes very much. He has some great ideas to develop 'Charlie's' transition from school to College and we all look forward to working with him closely in the future."
We are all very impressed with 'There to care' and its loyalty, friendship and trust, to its customer, Charlie.
Both Charlie and his family would like to thank you all and look forward to your continued support in 2014.
Kind regards, Phil and Sara Myers"
My carers are all very kind and helpful and they know me well and they see me regularly and I don’t have to get used to new faces on a regular basis and I know I can always rely on them.
My neighbours are out to work every day so no ‘chats over the garden wall’. I’m really fortunate having Linda to support me. With best wishes.
He has grown in confidence and copes much better than he would have previously. He’s gone on a few long day trips and just come back from a long weekend away and it was lovely to see how excited he was and listen to the stories he had to tell. I am so grateful to have There to Care looking after my son. They always put him first and nothing is any trouble. They really do 'Care' about their clients.
Cameron has been learning about travel training, giving him the confidence to travel on his own on public transport which will help him when he goes to college and gets a job. He is also being shown how to manage his finances and his social skills are developing all the time.
Mrs A Stevens"
My husband’s needs, wishes and feelings took first priority but with a genuine understanding and appreciation of the stress and worry we went through trying to balance family, work, home and care.
Without There To Care (Eddie and the support workers) my husband would not have managed to live safely at home for as long as he did. I very much appreciated their flexibility, respectful and thoughtful, human kindness.
I do thank you though as all of the family are very happy indeed and more to the point, so is mum. She looks after mum exceedingly well and mum loves her cooking!
My sincere thanks and love to you all.
I would like to personally thank you for your kind and very generous donation and for believing in our vision to help young people.
Your donation will help us rent out spaces where we can hold our projects, pay for professional facilitators to come and work with our young people and equipment so the young people can make films and music.
Again, I would like to say another thank you, without your support and donations our vision couldn’t have started, so thank you and welcome to
The RISE Collective Family.
